Peregrine was a very busy sort of person – he hadn't taken a day off in two years. And here he was, because his boss insisted, he take a day off. It was stressful not to be at work for Nott, he just couldn't stop thinking about all the work he had. There was a lot of paperwork he needed to sort through and fill out based on some new problems in the world. Some he needed to hand up to his boss, some he had to handle on his own. That was what he got for being a junior undersecretary. Luckily, he was not too far from his dream job – which would be just as stressful if not more so.
Nott, not knowing what to do, found his way to the Leaky Cauldron in the morning. It wasn't like he knew how to really relax – and so he did what he thought everyone else did. Go out and eat somewhere. Might be early from his research into 'normal' behavior, but it would work. After ordering some pancakes with maple syrup, Nott leaned back – forgetting he was in a barstool and almost fell backwards, using a quick wandless spell to catch himself. He looked around worriedly, hoping no one saw his stupid move. He leaned forward and sighed.
'Anything else, young man?' the bartender asked, looking to Nott with a curious look. Probably was weird to see a well-dressed man at the bar ordering pancakes on a Saturday morning.
"Oh, a water, if you have it." Nott replied running a hand over his face and leaning forward towards the bar itself. The bartender nodded, summoning a glass and filling it with water, still giving Nott a weird look. With a bit of hesitation, he began to eat his pancakes, his eyes flicking around to see who was there – perhaps there was someone here who could help his career. Though he already had a lot of good contacts as it was. When he was old enough, he'd at least have a good shot. But this was the best way to meet people, right? Going to places and meeting people?

TRAITS & FACTS: - child of Severus Snape (unknown until after the battle of Hogwarts) - fought in the aid of the defenders of Hogwarts - hopes to become minister of magic CURRENT INFORMATION: Currently working as Junior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic. He can be a bit awkward if he isn't prepared for a situation, but when it comes to public speaking he can be the most charming fellow out there. While he is a Slytherin, he was in the year with Draco Malfoy and his little gang. His cousin, Theodore Nott, was also in their year along with Zabini, Crabbe, and Goyle. He never was close with really any of them, but it was amicable enough between them.
He left the Gryffindors alone for the most part, was never really into that whole pureblood supremacy. He's not vocal about his biological father being Severus Snape, but if one were to press him on it, he's a bit sensitive about it. After all, he only found out after his father died, and from what he knows, Snape knew about it and never told him despite being his teacher for seven years. 1980 - In March of 1980, Nott was born. Little did he know, he was the result of his mother being an unfaithful wife to his father. And that he was a drunken mistake after a falling out between his mother and her husband. His true father was someone who had a fight with a friend of his. Peregrine would not find out about this until much more recently that his biological father was indeed Severus Snape.
1991 - Nott went to school and was sorted into Slytherin. While he much enjoyed potions, he was somewhat of an outcast in his house. Mostly Draco Malfoy, Crabbe, and Goyle were annoying to him constantly getting into trouble because of Harry Potter. Nott mostly ignored them. At least Zabini kept him company from times to time.
1997 - When Voldemort took over, Nott was mostly left alone. He did what he was told and basically nothing else. He didn't want to stir the water. His father, the one he thought was his biological one at least, was a death eater and so Nott was actually treated very well, much like most of his colleagues in Slytherin - even more so than Malfoy whose father failed one too many times.
1998 - When the Battle of Hogwarts came about, Nott fled with the rest of the students, but did not join the other side like many of the other Slytherins. It wasn't until the second half of the battle Nott decided to do something. He rushed to the aid of the defenders, being one of the few Slytherins (though not the only one). He faced his father in battle, and ended up stunning him after distracting his own father with a lie about his mother cheating on him. His father ended up in Azkaban and Nott told his mother what happened - to which she asked how he found out about that. A long, long talk occurred where he found out about the fling between her and Severus Snape. Unfortunately, to Perry's knowledge Snape died during the battle.
2003 - This year he was able to get a promotion to junior undersecretary to the minister of magic. On his way to his dream of becoming the Minister of Magic, this was a huge step. Now he was in contact with the minister almost directly. It was likely due to the fact the senior undersecretary had been put in prison five years prior and they had been looking to fill her position, and then the junior position had opened up. Prior to this, Perry had been working in the Improper Use of Magic department.
